We
are people that are a group of dog lovers, first and foremost. We are
looking to start a club to train our dogs to pull dog sleds, 3-wheeled
carts (when there is no snow), and weight-pulling sledges, purely for
fun and for fun competition and also first class exercise for the dogs.
We
would want to get like minded people together that have the same
passions as us for their dogs and would like to become involved in the
above and be a part of our new club.
We have a wide variety of dogs involved
with us. Malamutes and Huskamutes. We would be glad to have on board
some of the people that got their dog from ourselves. All dogs in
good health comfortable with people and other dogs are welcome.
Some dogs don't like pulling, but most
do. Those who seem to enjoy it are patiently taught to pull in harmony
with the rest of the team. Our dogs are both our students and our
teachers. Please understand we cannot involve dogs who are
aggressive to other dogs or to people.
All levels of interest are welcome,
from fiercely competitive to laid back. We are looking to gathering as
an informal group, and our main goal will always be to keep it fun for
the dogs and for the people.
If you'd like to get email about
our club we are starting or please become a member then There is no
cost.
We will be a true Not-For-Profit
Club.
